Understanding the struggles working parents often face when balancing family and career, they wanted to create a place where parents could feel assured that their children were being cared for in a positive, welcoming learning environment.
This led to Nest Early Learning Centre being formed in April 2012. Qualified as an Early Childhood Teacher with a Bachelor of Education, Jess has had over 10 years experience within the industry. Combined with Tamara’s degree in Psychology and extensive business experience across small and large organisations, the skill set of both sisters made for the perfect combination to successfully operate and develop Nest.
Jess and Tamara continually strive for Nest to be a caring, stimulating, environment that will produce confident and inspired children. The educational programs at Nest are based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) with a strong emphasis on play based learning. This approach engages the child’s natural desire to engage in experiences based on their interests, strengths and development of skills.
As mothers to six young children between them, Jess and Tamara understand that every child is unique and they value the importance of embracing the individual and providing positive guidance and support for children to learn and grow.
